Horses are very under rated a lot most  people think you just put then in a field and leave them, maybe you can for some but over the last few years l have found this very untrue.

People buy horses for many different reasons and when they have served their purpose sell them on for a bigger or better one, this is something l can not understand for me a horse, dog, cat is for life part of the family so when my pony, horse gets to small for me WHY would l just sell him/her on.

Here in Spain people for one reason or another are just leaving their horses to die without food or water just walking away from them, this makes my blood boil.

I understand there is a recession on at the moment and people may not be able to feed them but to just walk away.

Take a look at the last two cases we have had in, the mare has been named Promesa and the gelding is called Valor.

The mare only has one eye, we don’t know what happen to her right eye but she will need an operation on it, we think she may have to have it out.

This is Valor l have to say he was very sad when he came to us; you only had to look into his eyes.

He still needs to put on lots of weight but his eyes are a lot brighter and you can see he now has hope.

We can no longer take any more in as we just have not got the money to feed them, but what can we do!!!!!

As little as 10 Euros a month will help us feed an animal.
